Since 1991 David Kellen and Studio K Music have been providing opportunities for people of all ages to build confidence through the piano. He has motivated, educated, and a mentored thousands of people through music. He established Studio K from just a handful of students. Today, it is the largest and most successful piano education school in the Western Suburbs, with an enrollment of 150 students ranging in ages four to 85! Many of the local school choirs and jazz bands have piano players that learn from David Kellen.

The curriculum at Studio K is both comprehensive and diverse. Note reading, rhythm, technique, improvisation and theory are all a solid part of learning at the studio. All styles of music are taught as well, Classical, Jazz, Pop, Christian, Ragtime, Rock, etc... Mr. Kellen has an incredible gift of being able to play and write out popular tunes the students love to play. Arrangements that are specifically geared for their level.
