Confidence is the one attitude parents want their children to possess. When a young person can complete a task, finish a project, or reach a goal, a sense of self worth and esteem is raised to new levels. Since 1991 Studio K Music has been providing opportunities for people of all ages to build confidence through the piano. David Kellen has motivated, educated, and a mentored hundreds of people through music. He established Studio K from a handful of students. Today, it is the most successful piano education school in the Western Suburbs, with an enrollment of over 150 students. The curriculum at Studio K is both diverse and inclusive. Many styles of music are used in educating students; Popular, Jazz, Classical, Christian Music, Ragtime, Blues, and Rock. David is also a gifted arranger and has written over one thousand piano arrangements of popular songs. Each arrangement is geared to a student’s particular level, making piano playing more fun and exciting!
